Game 3 of the CMWS feather the North Atlantic Champion Long Island Titans against the South Plains Champion D-Bat Mustangs-Carpenter.
The Titans scored first in the top of the 3rd inning when Vinny Maietta was hit by a pitch before advancing to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt. Maietta then scored on a double by Joseph Runco.
The Mustangs bounced back in the bottom half of the 3rd with 2 runs. Bret Boswell lead off with a walk and Alex Bregman singled to right field prior to being driven in by Ronnie Gideon. However the Titans were not done yet. They retaliated with 2 runs of their own in the top half of the 4th inning with back to back doubles by Nick Munziato and Vinny Maietta.
The Titans stayed ahead with a score of 3-2 until the bottom of the 7th inning when with 2 outs Bret Boswell walked before Alex Bregman tied up the game with a triple to right field. Niko Buentello then singled through the right side to seal the victory for the D-Bat Mustangs Carpenter.
