In the 1st inning there were no hits, runs or errors by either team. Both teams hit several balls into the field but none hit the ground to allow for any player to make it onto a base at any point in the 1st inning.
#14 for the Dodgers gets hit by the ball and is the first to take a base tonight, during the 2nd inning. Zanotta and Bernardo both get out strike out swinging. In the bottom of 2nd Aramis makes it to first but gets out in between first and second.
4 home runs are made in the top of the 3rd by the Dodgers, in the bottom the Legends get 2 players home in the race to beat the Dodgers, during game 1.
Bernardo starts the 4th off making his way home while the rest of his team members work to get their way onto the bases. Garcia starts the bottom off with a nice little single to the left field and ends up making his way home with a little help from Alvarez. Underwood was the only other team member during this inning to make home plate safe.
The legends pull the score up by one in the bottom of the 5th thanks to Lopez‘s fast legs and his fellow teammates help while batting. Dodgers made no runs this inning.
Both the Dodgers and the Legends work their way through the 6th inning only making it to bases but no runs home for this inning.
The first three players for the Dodgers all walk. While the bases are loaded the Legends get O’Keefe out while the Dodgers make 3 runs to home. As Ziter tries to make the bases with bunts and 2 more Dodgers come home. In the bottom of the 7th the Legends try to make bases but don’t quiet get to any in this inning.
The final score is 9: 6 Dodgers winning the first game in the series.
